Figure Drawing at Medium Gallery

Draw from a live model in a respectful artistic community in central Ukiah.

Artists of all skill levels are welcome for uninstructed drawing of the nude human figure on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, from 9:30am to noon, at Medium Gallery in the Pear Tree shopping center in Ukiah. Cost is $20. We can accept cash, credit or debit cards. We use a short-pose format (ten 2-minute poses, four 5-minute poses, two 10-minute, and three 20-minute poses, with breaks every 20 minutes.) 

We do ask that artists observe these guidelines:

• We start promptly at 9:30, so please show up early to set up with your own supplies and easel. We provide chairs and a few tables. We will lock the doors once we get started, but you can come in during a break if you are late.

• Please don’t take photographs of the model – don’t even ask.

• To be conscious of the model’s privacy, we ask artists to maintain a respectful distance and not chat with the model during the pose.

• Please help us maintain a quiet drawing atmosphere for everyone. 

• We can only welcome artists and models 18+
