The Ukiah Photography Club meets at MEDIUM Art Gallery, 518 E. Perkins Street, Ukiah on the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. The upcoming meeting will be on October 5th. Members get together to share their work, discuss projects, and connect with fellow photographers. If you're unable to attend in person, we can provide you with a link to join the meeting online.
The photography theme for October is “candid.”
Cyanotype Presentation: Chris Watt will give a brief demonstration on making cyanotype prints using both paper and film negatives. The cyanotype process, also known as the blueprint process, was first introduced by John Herschel (1792 – 1871) in 1842. Sir John was an astronomer trying to find a way to copy his notes.
From beginners to seasoned professionals, photography enthusiasts of all levels are welcome to attend our club meetings. These gatherings are excellent opportunities to network with local photographers, learn new techniques, and share your passion for photography with like-minded individuals.
