Fresh Eyes Artist Spotlight: Charlotte Tefft

My life in textile arts has been long and vast. Doll Clothes to wedding dresses and tailored suits. Weaving yardage to tapestry and rug making. Fresh out of college I restored oriental carpets and repaired Native American carpets and weavings. Commissioned tapestries were accomplished. Learned the skills of quilt making That has evolved to creating Art Quilts. I am enjoying this faze with fiber while being curious where the threads will lead me to. My work has been exhibited and sold in galleries and museums of New York state and throughout California.
