Myths and Monsters (October 2024)
The Deep Valley Arts Collective is pleased to announce their October group art exhibition titled “Myths and Monsters,” opening at MEDIUM Art Gallery in Ukiah and on display from October 4th through October 26th, 2024.
As the days grow shorter and darkness creeps in, we are reminded of the many spooks and creatures that generations of people before us have plucked from their imaginations. From the mythical creatures of ancient Greece to the modern-day zombie story, humans have always imagined the most fantastically dark beings to make our hearts race and remind us that we are alive. “Myths and Monsters” will showcase a variety of artwork exploring the things that go bump in the night.
Opening Reception: First Friday Art Walk: Friday, October 4th, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Beverages and light refreshments were available. Wine provided by Saracina Vineyards.
Community art project: Monster mask during the opening. All supplies were provided.

MEDIUM Art Gallery is in the Pear Tree Center in Ukiah at 518 E. Perkins Street, next to AT&T. Current gallery hours are Mondays through Saturdays 12-6 p.m.
